The dates of the CBSE board examinations are clashing with the dates of the computer based examination of the JEE (main) 2014. Considering this, the board responsible to conduct the JEE (main) examination has asked the candidates who are writing their board examinations on the very same day to send the copies of their Class 12th Board Admit Card via email latest by 25th March, 2014. The e-mail address is jeemain@nic. The candidates are supposed to mention their JEE Main 2014 application number also.
The candidates must send their respective admit cards to the given email id only. If in any case, the candidate sends the admit card is sent at any other email id or, by post; it won’t be entertained. The candidates will then be allotted other available data of the computer based examination of the JEE Main 2014 examination.
The JEE Main 2014 Admit Card for the examination will available for be download from JEE -Main website from 1st March, 2014 onwards. Before any candidate downloads his/her admit card, he/she is supposed to mention his/her Roll No. and Board in which have passed their Class 12th Examination. The details of class 12th/ equivalent qualifying examination on the JEE (MAIN) website are also to be provided. Previous years pass out candidate are required to verify their Roll no. and board details of class 12th/equivalent Qualifying examination.
The candidates can download their admit cards from JEE (Main) website. The Candidates are also advised to regularly see JEE (Main) website for updates. A call center is also functioning on all working days from 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM from 18th November, 2013 for general facilitation. The help line numbers of the call center are available on the website of JEE (Main) are as follows: 8506061071 to 78.
Once the jee main 2014 admit card is issued, the candidate must check the Admit Card carefully for his/her Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Center, City, State Code of Eligibility and Category. In cases of discrepancy, communications are to be made to JEE(Main) Secretariat immediately for necessary action.
The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions. The Admit Card issued is very important to meet the registration formalities on the day of examination. On the day of examination, the candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess the Admit Card issued by the Board shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent. Every candidate appearing for the examination irrespective of the mode being online or, offline has to present the Admit Card on the day of Examination.
